Just received word from one of my blog readers, Zonia, that the unidentified bird in one of my Joshua Tree National Park blogs is a Cassiar Junco. Here's a picture she found on the Internet and you can readily and easily see she has correctly identified the bird. Thank you Zonia!
I also updated my original post so if you haven't read it from the blog website yet this bird will now be identified instead of unidentified.
