Whoops!

Dear blog friends, not sure what happened (who can figure these things out?) but somehow most of my recent blog posts went into DRAFT status as if they had never been sent to you before.  The only way I know how to change that is to republish them all at the same time.  This means you will get an email notification all of them at once (I hope).  The two most current posted blogs (in case you want to skip over all the older ones) are:
  • We're not joshing about Joshua
  • Making the Most of the Mojave (this is the MOST recent one)
Tomorrow I'm going to switch the rest of the DRAFTS back to published and then you'll have access to everything once again, especially the most recent post, "Making the Most of the Mojave".

Who knows what can happen when you let your fingers do the walking and they end up hitting a combination of keys that sets off something you never dreamed of!  Been there ... done that ... and will probably do it again!

Wishing you the Merriest of Christmases and the Happiest of New Years.

Isaiah 9:6-7
For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; and the government will rest on His shoulders; and His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.  There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness from then on and forevermore.  The zeal of the LORD of hosts will accomplish this.
Luke 2:6-14
While they were there, the days were completed for her to give birth.  And she gave birth to her firstborn son; and she wrapped Him in cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.  In the same region there were some shepherds staying out in the fields and keeping watch over their flock by night.  And an angel of the Lord suddenly stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them; and they were terribly frightened.  But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger." And suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased."
